Sunflower Crown

Sunflower Crown
Imagination, plastic spoons, plastic plates, hot glue, paints, wooden stick
Christine decided to try to make a sunflower from the plastic spoons & plates, after much encouragement. She said, "I've never tried to make anything like this before, it may turn out ugly, but daddy taught me to at least try & not to give up no matter how hard the situation is...I guess I'll see what I can do then!" Once completed, she looked and looked at her sunflower, then she stated, "Well, it's not the best looking flower, but I think it looks like a crown, you know one that Ms. America wears!" This is how she came up with her artwork title name, "Sunflower Crown".
